  • Trending Family-Friendly Activities In 2020!

    Children of all ages and grown-ups alike residing in this great city have a lot to look forward to in 2020! Hong Kong never fails to excite and is raising the bar when it comes to unique ideas to keep its residents entertained.

    1. MegaBox has created Hong Hong Kong’s first-ever interactive exhibition that is a replica of the human digestive system! It's strange, it's fun and it's educational. Kids and parents alike are going to have a blast running through the funky digestive system while learning all about the digestive system's anatomy and functions.
    2. Crickets, mealworms, caterpillars, oh my! Tired of coming up with new ideas for snack time? Grazing Foods, a food importer and distributor, has made mealtime a whole lot more fun and sustainable with their line of insect-based delicacies now available online.
    3. After a decade of preparation and construction, Macao finally got its first rapid transit system as the Macao LRT opens! Macao Light Rapid Transit (LTR) currently connects Macao's hotspots within Taipa.
    4. Did someone say makeover? The Western Kowloon Promenade’s Art Park recently had one, and we love it! If a relaxing outdoorsy day is what you’re looking for, the Art Park’s new features won’t disappoint with their open lawn spaces, cafes, and a refurbished bike path!

    2. Cinnabon one of the most iconic bakery chains in the states that creates the most ooey-gooey, cinnamon-laced treats is coming to Hong Kong in February.
    3. Frites Kowloon - Renowned Belgium Beer House FRITES, launches in Kowloon Bay. The new interior decor keeps in theme with the classic FRITES atmosphere styled after traditional 1920’s Belgian beer halls with high ceilings, rustic tables, and stain glass windows.
    4. Ink Seafood Bar - This casual seafood joint is located on the newly revamped Avenue of the Stars. The fun seafood spot is an excellent place to park yourself for a few hours on a fine day, slurping fresh oysters and indulging in succulent seafood platters, as well as lobster rolls and more!

    2. Coming to Hong Kong is a live adaptation of Nufonia Must Fall DJ Kid Koala’s graphic novel titled Nufonia Must Fall. DJ Kid Koala is a world-renowned Canadian disc jockey, music producer, and graphic novelist. January 31 at 8pm and February 1 at 3pm, 2020.
    3. Entertain the kids with the classical ballet performance of Sleeping Beauty. It's one of the most iconic fairytales, and whether the kids have heard it a million times or none, they'll be sure to enjoy this ballet retelling of the beautiful story. February 8, 2020.
    4. Experience the powerful and whimsical nature of Dinosaurs through a fabulous concert presented by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society. Mariano Chiacchiarini conducts the concert, and the dinosaur expert on hand is Dr. Michael Pittman. February 9, 2020.

    For mom & dad:

    1. All fathers are invited to Highgate House this coming January for a special parent workshop. The workshop, which will be guided by education co-ordinator Amy Punton and Highgate House founder Julie Lam, will help dads discover new ways to build strong relationships with their children that are based on trust and understanding. January 18, 2020.
