Clockenflap 2025 promises an incredible lineup of performances across three days, featuring a mix of legendary acts and rising stars. Highlights include Bloc Party delivering their iconic indie rock anthems on Saturday, while My Bloody Valentine will bring their signature shoegaze sound to the stage on Sunday. Friday offers the genre-defying brilliance of Jacob Collier, alongside Passenger's heartfelt melodies. Franz Ferdinand and Bright Eyes will captivate Sunday audiences with their timeless hits, and electronic music fans can look forward to Dave Clarke’s pulsating DJ set on Saturday. It’s a weekend packed with unforgettable music!

Clockenflap is a festival designed for merry-makers of all ages, offering a carefully curated program of family-friendly attractions and interactive activities that children and parents can enjoy together. On Saturday and Sunday, families can dive into hands-on Family Workshops hosted by the Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum or experience energizing sonic adventures using ancient musical traditions with Hakgwai & Chor Lai. Kids and adults alike can join the ever-popular Drum Jam for some percussion fun, enjoy lively lyrical showdowns and an intergalactic disco at the Lipsync Battle, or sing along during Treasure Chest Theatre’s puppet show Peace on Earth: A Pigeon’s Story. There’s even more fun with face painting, a bouncy castle, and plenty of exciting activities to keep everyone entertained.

This year’s arts program is headlined by the world premiere of Minimax: The Planets, an immersive theatrical experience reimagining Gustav Holst’s iconic suite. Conceptualized by Jay Hofmann-Forster and designed by Obie Chan, the production combines electronic soundscapes, jazz, street dance, hip-hop, circus, and audience participation to bring each planet to life in a dynamic blend of music, theatre, and movement. Supported by the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme, Minimax transforms everyday spaces into moments of wonder.
Other highlights include The Origin, a striking DJ booth and art installation by Screw Up Studio, and Relentless Melt No. 42: Generative Abstractions, a showcase of experimental music videos using AI tools like Midjourney, co-curated by Max Hattler and Jay Hofmann-Forster.
