Hong Kong Disneyland’s “A Disney Christmas” is back from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, and this year the festive magic carries on even after the holidays end. Families visiting this season will find sparkling decorations, magical snowfall and lots of festive experiences. There’s a brand-new winter market in World of Frozen, a new Christmas castle show starring Mickey and Minnie, and the much-loved tree lighting ceremony. Here’s what makes this year’s Disney holiday a must for family fun!

When is Christmas at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2026?

A Disney Christmas runs from 20 November 2026 to 3 January 2027. The park is decorated with festive lights, snowfall effects, character greetings in holiday outfits and nightly entertainment. What is new at World of Frozen during Christmas 2026?

World of Frozen becomes a Christmas wonderland with a new festive winter market. Anna, Elsa and Olaf appear in winter attire amid snow-capped trees, magical snowfall and holiday decorations. Kids can meet characters and enjoy interactive winter activities. It is one of the most popular stops for families during the season.

When is the Disney Christmas Live in Concert?

The concert takes place on two weekends: 21–22 November and 5–6 December 2026 at the Castle of Magical Dreams. It features Disney friends, live musicians, the Hong Kong Children’s Choir and castle projections. Seating area passes are available separately and are recommended if you want a reserved spot.

Is the tree lighting and snowfall included with a regular ticket?

Yes. The nightly “A Holiday Wish-Come-True” Tree Lighting Ceremony (with Santa Goofy, lights, snowfall and drone effects), the Friendtastic! Parade, character greetings and most festive decorations are included with regular admission. Only concert seats, New Year’s Eve Premier Access and certain dining packages cost extra.

How can families make the most of the festive season at the park?

Arrive early or stay into the evening for the tree lighting and snowfall. Consider the Non-stop 2-Day Fun Ticket (add HK$100 to a 1-Day Ticket for a second day through 31 December). Christmas Celebration At World of Frozen

A Festive Winter Market In Arendelle

Step into Arendelle as World of Frozen turns into a Christmas wonderland, with snow-capped trees, twinkling decorations, festive music, and magical snowfall. New this year is a festive winter market, inspired by Arendelle's traditions and filled with holiday treats, handmade treasures and surprises. Anna and Elsa greet visitors in their royal winter outfits. Kids can also chat with the walking, talking Olaf about everything he loves about Christmas, and help Kristoff finish an ice sculpture for his reindeer friend in "Kristoff's Sven-tastic Surprise."

The fun doesn't stop after Christmas, either. From 5 January 2027, Olaf hosts Arendelle's first-ever Winterfest, with an all-new Olaf encounter told through a one-of-a-kind storytelling experience.
Disney Christmas Live In Concert

A Magical Moment With Mickey & Friends, The Hong Kong Children's Choir & More Special Appearances
On two festive weekends, catch Disney Christmas Live in Concert! Mickey, Christmas Goofy and Disney friends perform holiday classics with live musicians, while projections light up the castle. This year, well-known Hong Kong pianists Joyce Cheung (21–22 November) and Oscar Tao (5–6 December) join more than a hundred members of the Hong Kong Children's Choir to perform heartwarming Christmas songs. It's an uplifting treat for all ages.

Welcome 2027 With A Magical New Year's Eve Countdown

Ring In The New Year At The Castle Of Magical Dreams
Ring in 2027 at the Castle of Magical Dreams with a family-friendly countdown party! The night starts with the Momentous nighttime show at 9:00pm. Then the party moves to the castle area, where a DJ plays remixes of Disney classics and Goofy, Max and the Countdown Party dancers get everyone moving. As midnight gets close, Mickey and Friends take the stage in an all-new performance, with drone displays, fireworks and countdown projections running down Main Street, U.S.A.

For the best views, Disney Premier Access (New Year's Eve Edition) starts from HK$659. It includes entry to the viewing areas for the countdown and Momentous, plus priority access to eight attractions. For something extra special, Explorer's Club Restaurant offers festive dining with access to a viewing area.
