If you fancy a day trip and alternative paradise views, jump on a boat for a 30-minute trip from Sanur or Benoa Harbour, which leave for Nusa Lembongan regularly throughout the day, or take a helicopter that takes about 10 minutes. Nusa Lembongan is in a group of three islands – Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida lie to the south and Nusa Lembongan is linked to Nusa Ceningan by a small bridge. Sandy Bay is the original Lembongan beach club and has a barefoot, carefree, beachy vibe. Not only can you dine and chill out in the elegantly rustic club, but you can also have a spa pamper in Glo Spa or do a spot of shopping in their boutique. Relax on sun loungers with a frozen coconut daiquiri in hand and dine on mouth-watering prawns. Toe-tapping tunes will take you and the kids well into the evening as the sun melts across the sea.
