Mandarin Oriental, Bali is a new clifftop resort on the Bukit peninsula, slated to open in 2027. Expect 110 suites and villas (most with private pools), a dedicated Kids Club and direct access to a protected white-sand beach.
Kids get tennis and padel courts, water sports and an organic garden. Parents get a full spa and a cliff-edge restaurant. And if one holiday isn’t enough, 68 private residences (three to six bedrooms) sit above the resort, so your family can own a slice of it, too.

The Scoop On Mandarin Oriental, Bali
Little Steps Insider Tips:
Mandarin Oriental, Bali is slated to open in 2027, but an exact opening month hasn’t been confirmed. The resort was announced in July 2024 as a partnership with local developer Harmoni Bali, with interiors by Jeffrey Wilkes and landscaping by Bill Bensley.
Room rates haven’t been released yet, and Mandarin Oriental will announce pricing closer to the 2027 opening. With private pool villas, a full spa and direct beach access, expect pricing in line with Bali’s top-end Uluwatu resorts, not mid-range family hotels.
Yes, it’s set up well for families. There’s a dedicated Kids Club, tennis and padel courts, water sports at the beach club, an organic garden and a sustainability lab. Most villas have private pools, so little ones can nap while you swim.
It’s about 30 minutes by car from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which is short enough for toddlers. The resort sits on a clifftop in Bukit Pandawa, on Bali’s southern Bukit peninsula, with Jimbaran, Uluwatu and Sanur also around 30 minutes away.
Yes. There are 68 Mandarin Oriental branded residences, ranging from three to six bedrooms, on an eight-hectare site above the resort. Owners get a private clubhouse with family zones, a coworking area, a gym and a pool, plus full access to the resort’s facilities.

It's rare to get a real Kids Club, beach access and private pool villas at a resort this high-end. Parents don't have to pick between a luxe stay and a trip the kids will love.
Families with kids of all ages, multigenerational groups who need space, and parents looking for a Bali holiday home with resort service on tap.
Reservations aren't open yet and the exact opening date is still to be confirmed. The resort also has a cliff-front lawn for weddings and events, so it's worth a look if you're planning a family celebration.
