What: Catch the exciting coastal fest, “Festival Bahari”, happening over 4 full days at the halfway Kuta Beach Skate Park Area in Kuta. This Festival is proudly brought to you by the Badung Regency Tourism Office with the aim of drawing tourism to the region and to support the local community. This spectacular Festival will feature various events such as cultural performances, culinary journeys, markets, expos, dragon boat racing, body painting, fashion shows, music performances, skateboarding, surfing, and more! The Festival commences in the morning on Sunday, October 1st with free entry to this event on all festival days. Support local and have a whale of a time!

What: By now you should be familiar with the world-famous Oktoberfest. It’s all about authentic Bavarian tradition, great beer, and totally festive vibes all-round! In an exciting twist, catch this year’s Oktoberfest on 5 October at The Best Brew at Four Points by Sheraton Bali in Kuta, featuring a collaboration with renowned and talented local Balinese chef, Chef Ronald N Tokilov. Enjoy divine seafood cuisine paired with special craft beers from Bali Hai, Bintang, Breman, Canard, and Kura Kura breweries. Enjoy the full-on Oktoberfest theme at this open-air, urban beer garden, with entertainment like live music and a cabaret show. This event starts at 7:00pm until 11:00pm. What: After a 3-year hiatus, the fabulous Nusa Penida Festival returns to Bali’s shores. This 3-day festival takes place on Nusa Penida Island in Klungkung Regency, just a short distance from the shores of mainland Bali. It’s Bali’s largest tourism promotion event and will feature incredible cultural performances with over 500 dancers. There’s something to be enjoyed for the whole family at this Festival. Festival goers can also look forward to a massive “kecak” performance by some of the province’s finest cultural artists. Catch an authentic ceremonial “pakelem” ritual at Batununggal Beach as the Festival kicks off. Other events include turtle release activities, musical performances, and traditional boat races. What: Head to club Ritual Bali for an unforgettable night of music and good vibes brought to you by global sensation - 3030. This Brazilian rap trio and band will electrify Bali with their “3030 World Tour” on 7 October. You don’t want to miss this one as this event marks the first-ever performance by a Brazilian artist in Bali. It’ll truly be an experience like no other! What: If literature is your thing, don’t miss the 20th anniversary of the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival starting on 18 October. It’s truly a literary celebration at its best! This fantastic 5-day festival was born out of unity after the Bali bombing in 2002. It has now become an incredible platform for over 150 emerging and world-renowned writers, debaters, poets, artists, scholars, and visionaries to showcase their work. The Festival also aims to honor those who’ve shaped our literary landscape in the past.
