Shi Fu Miz Festival is back for its sixth edition, taking place from October 27 to October 29, 2023 on the beautiful island of Cheung Chau, just a short ferry ride away from the bustling city. This beloved boutique festival has found its home amidst the golden sand beaches and lush grasses of Sai Yuen Farm.

Shi Fu Miz Festival is a music and art project created by the Hong Kong-based creative agency FuFu and the music collective La Mamie’s from France. Their mantra is to offer a varied program of worldwide electronic music combining live music (click here for the full lineup!), DJ sets and unique cultural activities surrounding art.

This year, Shi Fu Miz Festival is taking an exciting new direction with its Pillars program, placing an even greater emphasis on lifestyle, well-being, family, and scenography. And what’s more, it’s free for kids under 12!

• Lifestyle: Explore the leafy festival grounds, which offer a natural and relaxed vibe. The farmland setting provides ample space for various activities and luxury camping options, including teepees, safari tents, and geodesic domes. Take your time to relax on the beach, stroll through the grassy fields, or even try roller skating in the concrete pit.
• Well-being: The festival offers different areas for relaxation and enjoyment, and there are plenty of well-being activities and creative workshops to participate in throughout the three days. Engage in yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, and more. Stay tuned for further announcements on these exciting activities!
• Family-Friendly: Shi Fu Miz is a family-friendly festival, and kids under 12 can join the fun for free! There will be a range of activities and workshops specifically tailored for children, keeping them entertained and engaged throughout the event. Stay tuned for more information!
• Scenography: The creative studio Raito based in Amsterdam and some creative local talents will be responsible for the lighting, and art installations in the festival field.
• Sustainability and ecology: The festival has always been a platform for raising environmental awareness and taking action to protect the planet. This year, Shi Fu Miz continues its commitment to sustainability by striving for zero waste. Plastic bottles and single-use plastic are strictly prohibited, and festival-goers are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles. Water dispensers will be available on-site. Additionally, stages and decorations will be constructed using recycled and upcycled materials. You will also be invited to participate in eco-talks, workshops, and other initiatives to learn more about sustainability during the festival. In partnership with One Tree Planted, Shi Fu Miz is dedicated to reforestation efforts. For each ticket sold, they will plant one tree in a reforestation project in the Philippines, contributing to a greener future.

Shi Fu Miz Event Details:

• Date: Friday, October 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM; Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 AM; Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
• Venue: Sai Yuen Camping & Adventure Park, located at Sai Yuen, DD CC Lot 12 Cheung Chau, Hong Kong. It is an outdoor adventure playground spread over 11 acres of land, offering themed camping facilities and outdoor activities.
• Ticketing: There are different ticket options available.
  • 3-Day Pass: Blind tickets (sold out), Early Bird tickets (sold out), Advance tickets (on sale), Last Chance Tickets (coming soon).
  • Day Pass: Friday tickets (on sale), Saturday/Sunday Advance tickets (on sale), Saturday/Sunday Last Chance tickets (coming soon).
  • Children under 12 years old can enter for free but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
