This January, the city will host its very first large-scale cartoon balloon parade, Merry Balloon, part of the Merry Balloon Park! Featuring nearly 20 beloved international and local characters, including family favorites like SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol’s Chase, these giant helium balloons will take to the skies above Victoria Harbour, creating a breathtaking holiday spectacle. Merry Balloon Parade Hong Kong 2026:

• Date: January 11, 2026 from 11:30 am – 4:00pm
• Where: Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District, Kowloon (Along the promenade from Hong Kong Palace Museum to M+)

Parade Schedule:

• Morning Session:
  Parade Time: 11:30am – 1:00pm (From Hong Kong Palace Museum to M+)
  Entry Time: 9:30am – 11:00am
• Afternoon Session:
  Parade Time: 2:00pm – 4:00pm (From M+ to Hong Kong Palace Museum)
  Entry Time: 1:00pm – 1:30pm

Important Day-of-Event Arrangements:

• Crowd Control Measures: The organizer will implement crowd control measures based on the situation on the event day.
• Arrival Time: Ticket holders must arrive at the designated Spectator Zone entrance at least 30 minutes in advance to allow time for ticket verification and smooth entry. Latecomers may only be admitted at a suitable time.
