POKEMON CENTRE FESTIVAL WALK

Calling all Pokémon fans, big and small! Hong Kong’s first official Pokémon Center pop-up store opens at Festival Walk on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. It’s the star of Pokémon’s 30 Years of Joy, the mall’s 30th anniversary celebration, which runs until Sunday, January 3, 2027. More details are still being announced, and we’ll update this page as they come in.

More Details On The Pokémon Center Pop-Up Here

Here’s the part to plan for. You can only get into the store with a booking on the GULU app. The first booking window opens Wednesday, November 4 at 3pm and covers November 11 to 24. Those first two weeks are booking-only, so set that alarm! From November 25, walk-ins can queue after booked guests. Each booking covers two people, and little ones count too, even babies. That means a family of four needs two bookings. Arrive together 15 minutes early with the live QR code in the app.

Inside, you’ll find shelves of Pokémon Center plushies, lifestyle goods and exclusive 30th anniversary items. The store is open 11am to 9pm, though hours may change. Card-collecting kids, save the date: Pokémon TCG products arrive on Wednesday, November 18, including the Mega Evolution “30th CELEBRATION” expansion. Every purchase comes with a free gift while stocks last. You’ll get a sticker for any purchase, a coaster from HK$500 or a luggage tag from HK$800. The Day design runs until December 8 and the Night design starts December 9, so collectors may want to visit twice!

There’s no booking needed for the fun outside the store. LG2 and G floor are full of photo spots, including a giant dashing Pikachu balloon under a 10-metre Poké Ball light installation, a 3.6-metre Snorlax, the Pokémon Time Tunnel, and Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Gengar. Mini trainers can also enjoy:

  • A ball-toss to win a random keychain from 28 designs (HK$60)
  • A 30th anniversary photo booth (HK$60)
  • Free Switch 2 demos of Pokémon Pokopia and Pokémon Champions
  • Beginner card game lessons on weekends and public holidays, and card colouring on weekdays
  • Meet-and-greets with Pikachu and Eevee in special outfits, plus Gengar’s first-ever Hong Kong appearance (times TBA)

Pokémon GO families can show their game screen on G floor (11am to 7pm) for a free 10th anniversary postcard. Only a limited number are given out each day. The Wild Area: Global booth runs November 14 and 15 (10am to 6pm). Just visiting the mall also unlocks Timed Research for a chance to meet Party Hat Pikachu.

The Scoop

Only the pop-up needs planning. You can just turn up for everything else, but weekends by the Pikachu balloon get busy!

Family-friendly tips:

  • Set a reminder for Nov 4 at 3pm. From Nov 11 to 24, each account and phone number can book only once.
  • Each booking covers two people, and babies count. A parent with two kids needs two bookings.
  • Arrive together 15 minutes early, but not earlier. If you’re late, you lose your slot. Only the live QR code in the app works.
  • A booking doesn’t guarantee stock, and popular items have purchase limits.
  • Pop-up purchases don’t earn My FESTIVAL points or parking perks.
  • If you pay cash at the photo booth, bring the exact amount because it doesn’t give change.
  • Take the MTR to Kowloon Tong (Exit C).
  • Follow Pokémon Hong Kong on Facebook and Saka Saka (@sakasaka_hk) for meet-and-greet times.
