Updated: October 9, 2026
Calling all Pokémon fans! Festival Walk is celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary with a bakery takeover you won’t want to miss. From Saturday, October 10, 2026 to Sunday, January 3, 2027, Bakery by the Grand on LG2 becomes a dining corner themed around Grass, Fire, and Water types.
The star of the show is the dine-in “Grass • Fire • Water” Types Themed Treats Set for two (HK$598), and there’s a plush photo spot right next to the counter. Book on THE GRAND HK eShop or grab a walk-in ticket from 10 am. Kids under 6 don’t count toward the HK$100 minimum, which makes this perfect for a family day out.
Just popping by? Egg tarts go on sale at 9am. Madeleines and the Boutique gift box arrive Monday, November 2, so there’s a good reason to come back for more. Even better, the Pokémon Center pop-up is opening at Festival Walk soon, so stay tuned!
Details on the Pokémon Dining Experience
The Scoop – What to Expect
Where is the Pokémon bakery, and when does it run?
The Pokémon Dining Experience is at Bakery by The Grand, Shop LG2-11, Festival Walk, 80 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong, on the Kowloon Tong MTR. Themed sets run from 10 October 2026 to 3 January 2027. The menu is built around Grass, Fire and Water types. The bakery itself opens daily from 8am to 9:30pm, but the Pokémon sitting is only in set hours.
How do I book, and what does the set cost?
Book the Grass, Fire and Water treats set for two online. It is HK$598, plus a 10% service charge. An online booking puts you in the Fire-type area. Weekday sittings run 2:30pm to 8:30pm. Weekends and public holidays start at noon and finish at 8:30pm. You get 60 minutes at the table, and the all-day minimum is HK$100 a person.
Can we walk in with kids?
Walk-in quotas are limited, so book if the set is the reason you are going. Festival Walk weekends fill up, especially near Christmas. Go on a weekday after school if you want a calmer table. The sitting is one hour, which suits school-age fans better than a long lunch with a toddler.
Do we get a Pokémon gift with the set?
Yes, while stocks last. Each themed set comes with a mini coffee-cup keychain. It is not a full merch shop, so do not promise a Pikachu plush. Ask at the table if the charm is still included before you order, because the perk ends when they run out.
Is Festival Walk easy with a buggy?
Yes. Kowloon Tong station connects into the mall, and LG2 is step-free once you are inside. Festival Walk has parking if you are driving. Eat first, then use the mall play space if the kids still have energy. The regular pastry counter is the backup if the themed slots are gone.
