This November, Swire Group are inviting you to their free annual mega-concert, featuring classics by Rossini, Rachmaninov, Vivaldi and more with their Symphony Under The Stars. This memorable event will take place – literally under the stars – at the Central Harbourfront and be led by the Hong Kong’s Philharmonia Principal Guest Conductor Yu Long. The Italian-themed program will feature works by master conductors Berlioz, Rossini, Vivaldi, Wilson and Respighi, as well as famed HK Phil musicians performing as soloists – Concertmaster Jing Wang (Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons: Summer), and the four members of the trombone section – Jarod Vermette, Christian Goldsmith, Kevin Thompson and Aaron Albert (Wilson’s Seventy-Six trombones). They will be joined by presenter Phoebus Chan.
The concert will be live-streamed on the HK Phil website, Facebook page and YouTube channel, as well as the Swire TrustTomorrow Facebook page, however, nothing beats listening to Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini while admiring the beautiful Hong Kong skyline!
Registration for tickets starts on 25th October 2022 (Tuesday) at 10 am here, however members of the public are encouraged to open a free account here beforehand to help shorten the registration time on the day. There are limited tickets, and these are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each account holder can register up to four tickets.

Grab a bite to eat beforehand at one of the stalls at the AIA Vitality Park or at the many restaurants at IFC.
In view of social distancing guidelines and social distancing measures due to the pandemic, this concert will have assigned zones with a maximum of eight persons per unit. No eating or drinking is allowed, and attendees should wear masks throughout the event.
