2019 will be updated soon!

  • Tamar Park Picnic With The Family On New Years

Pack a picnic basket filled with special treats (not to mention a bottle of bubbly for mom and dad) and go to Tamar Park. It’s a great spot to catch the fireworks and offers spectacular views of the city at night, not to mention a patch of grass to roll around. Make sure you get there early, though, because it fills up by around 10:30pm. And be sure to bring some extra treats to share so you can make friends with your fellow revelers.

FRITES Belgian House conveniently located in 4 locations is ready to bring in the new year with "SHUCK AND SIP" New Year's Eve special. Sparkle your evening by sipping on a bottle of the French Gosset Excellent Brut champagne at the special price of HK$880 and receive 12 Gaboriau oysters from France for free! You can also enjoy two hours of unlimited Prosecco, draught beer, house wine, house spirits, soft drinks for only HK$250pp. Both offers start at 6pm on December 31, 2018. • Hike Up To The Peak

If you and your tykes are an active bunch, why not skip the boozing and feasting by opting for a sweaty yet festive outing? Starting from Kennedy Road, hike up Wanchai Gap Road and onwards to The Peak, where you can catch different vantage points of the city with the finale being amazing views of the fireworks at the top. Start a little earlier, at around 9pm, and treat yourselves to a round of hot chocolates at the end as a reward for hiking all the way up.

  • Avenue of The Stars, Tsim Sha Tsui

Take the Star Ferry over en masse with the rest of Hong Kong’s partygoers to the Avenue of The Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui. Bring along some whistles, bells, and horns to make lots of noise as you and your loved ones bid adieu to 2018. It’s a super-packed affair, but crowd control is a forte here in Hong Kong so expect well-mannered queues all along Victoria Harbour and police directing traffic to the Star Ferry and MTR before and after the festivities. Get there early and park you and your little ones on the steps of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre for front-row seats to the fireworks at midnight.

  • Board A Boat

Do something different and unique this New Yeats and get the best view of the fireworks from right on the water! What child wouldn't love a good boat ride with soaring fireworks flying the in the sky? Watertours and Harbour Cruise – Bauhinia both offer New Year’s Eve Countdown cruises, with options for buffet dinners or free flow packages (for the adults to toast). A great option for when you wish to celebrate with a group. You can’t get closer to the action than this!

This deck has 270-degree panoramic view of the harbor, giving your family the perfect spot too ooh and ahh as the sky lights up at midnight.
