You’ll discover how children learn through play, exploration and hands-on experiences at the Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong (MCPS)’s annual Open Day in West Kowloon in October 2026.
At Coronation Circle, the Reggio Emilia-inspired campus views the environment as the “third teacher,” creating opportunities for children to investigate, experiment and solve problems. During the Open Day, families can experience how the bilingual EYFS curriculum encourages critical thinking, creativity and self-confidence through sensory discovery and real-world learning.
Parents can meet the school’s educators, learn more about the Malvern Qualities and explore enrichment programmes including hands-on STEAM activities and Financial Literacy classes. Families can also discover how the Forest-Beach School experiences help children develop resilience, independence and a lasting appreciation of nature.

October 2026 Open Day at MCPS Coronation Circle
Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong offers a world-leading Early Years educational programme featuring creativity, academic learning, sport and outdoor activities.Seeking to encourage each child’s core values – curiosity, kindness, resilience, independence, integrity and humility – it focuses on preparing children for a smooth transition into full-time primary education.
MCPS has two campuses: one at Coronation Circle in West Kowloon and another, Island West, on Connaught Road West in Sai Ying Pun.
Drawing on more than 160 years of heritage from Malvern College UK, Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong is a member of a growing network of Malvern schools across the globe. Although each Malvern school has its own unique identity, they all share the same DNA and ethos, built around the “Five Centres of Excellence”: British-style Pastoral Care; Enhanced Learning; Entrepreneurial Education; Outdoor and Environmental Education; and a Global Network.
Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong is among the first pre-schools in Hong Kong to offer a Forest-Beach School programme, guided by Level 3-certified practitioners. Once every two weeks, the natural world becomes an inspiring extension of the classroom through child-led, sensory learning in woodland and beach environments. The programme engages all five senses and takes place in a range of weather conditions whenever it is safe to do so.
Getting there: the closest MTR station to MCPS Coronation Circle is Austin Station (Exit A), it’s about a 15-minute walk to the school from here.
