Complete Science Immersion And Edutainment

Hong Kong Science Museum

If you have not visited the simply awesome (and heavily air-conditioned) Hong Kong Science Museum, then jump on it!   A perfect option for hot and rainy days, the Hong Kong Science Museum offers over 500 exhibits, with 70% of them hands-on!

Science Day Summer Camps For Kids: Aug 2, 4 and 6, 2021, 10:30am-5:30pm

Fun Science Experiments For Kids: July 19, 21 and 23, 2021, 10:30am-4:00pm

The Highlights:
Ground Floor:  A favorite floor for those looking to stimulate the senses.  Journey through the world of mirrors, experiment with prisms and light and play with motion and sound.  This is also the floor dedicated to life science with exhibitions to learn about the human body, reproduction, genetics, plants, and animals.

First Floor:  It’s electric!  This floor is all about understanding electricity and magnetism.  Roam toward the back for a full exhibit on safety awareness in the workplace.  Kids will get a grip on risks associated with everything from falling objects to hearing protection.

Second Floor:  How is ice cream made? How does an air conditioner work?  Check out the answers on this floor of interactive educating fun.  The transportation area is a must-see with a huge airplane and hot air balloon that moves up and down!

Third Floor (Children’s Gallery):  Amazing for all ages with bubble hoops, wheels to toss down a track, ball mazes, and even a tip-toe tracker.  If you have toddlers, this is definitely your hangout.  The padded play area with stacking blocks and tunnels to explore will keep the wee ones entertained all day.
