The 36th edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair will take place from 15 to 21 July 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.
This year’s theme, “Reading the World: Cultural Legacy | Joyful Journeys,” invites readers to explore how traditional culture is both preserved and reimagined in modern society. Through topics like cultural and ecological tourism, heritage, traditional craftsmanship, and sustainable development, the fair highlights the beauty of humanity and nature while enriching perspectives and nourishing the spirit.
The fair offers a diverse range of books in both English and Chinese, making it a bilingual experience for readers of all backgrounds. Popular zones such as English Avenue, Children’s Paradise, and Teens’ World ensure there’s something for everyone—whether you’re into fiction, food writing, self-help, or science.
Some of the many product types that will be on sale include books, stationery and craft products, e-books, and e-learning resources, as well as multimedia products. This book fair of a grand scale only comes once a year and is not one to be missed!
