Step Onto The Trading Floor: Experience The HKEX Gong Tour!

Want to experience what it was like to be on the Hong Kong Exchange trading floor? Of course, things have changed since then! Now’s your chance to step into history and bring the whole family along for a fun, free, educational day out.

In celebration of its 25th anniversary, HKEX is launching its first-ever Gong Tour, a two-week event open to the public across Hong Kong starting 20 June, 2025. This interactive exhibition brings the iconic HKEX Gong and stories of Hong Kong’s financial heritage out of the Connect Hall and into the streets!

Visitors of all ages can:

• Put on the iconic red vests worn by floor traders in the 1980s
• Take insta-worthy photos with the IPO Gong and historic exhibits from the Museum of Finance
• Play interactive games designed to teach you about HKEX and the city’s dynamic financial markets
• Join a photo contest for a chance to win exclusive HKEX souvenirs

It’s a fantastic learning experience for children and families to understand the evolution of trading and finance in a fun, hands-on environment.
