Louis Vuitton Turns Its LANDMARK Facade Into A Giant Trunk-Shaped Train Station

Central's Newest Free Photo Spot, Best Seen After Dark

Louis Vuitton Central Station Facade at LANDMARK, Hong Kong

Louis Vuitton has wrapped its LANDMARK storefront in Central in a huge “Central Station” installation that celebrates the Maison’s love of travel. It was unveiled in mid-October 2026 and turns the brand’s Monogram trunk into an old-fashioned railway station, with a vaulted roof, arched windows, a glowing clock and digital screens that make it look like a train is moving through the city. The design looks back to the golden age of rail travel and to Hong Kong’s own transport history. It also marks the 130th anniversary of the Monogram.

Hong Kong is the latest city to get one of these facades, after the Champs-Élysées in Paris (2023), New York (2024) and Shanghai (2025). A train-themed pop-up ran in LANDMARK ATRIUM until 29 October, and a basement exhibition is planned ahead of the new Louis Vuitton Maison opening at LANDMARK. The outdoor facade stays up while the store is being refurbished, and it’s free to see. Add it to your next stroll through Central, and come back after dark to see it lit up.

Details

  • When: Unveiled mid-October 2026; on display for the length of the store renovation
  • Where: LANDMARK, Central (outside the building, along Pedder Street and Des Voeux Road Central)
  • Theme: Art of Travel / Louis Vuitton “Central Station”
  • Highlights: A giant Monogram trunk turned into a railway station, with a vaulted roof, clock, glowing arches and digital train scenes
  • Admission: Free to view from the street

The Scoop

You can see the whole installation from the street, and it makes a great photo backdrop for families and visitors exploring Central. The best light is in the late afternoon or evening, when the arches glow. The pavements around it are wide enough for strollers. You could pair your visit with a walk through LANDMARK or one of the nearby parks. Louis Vuitton says all the facade materials will be reused or recycled once the renovation is finished. Check Louis Vuitton’s and LANDMARK’s channels for news on the basement exhibition and the Maison’s reopening date.
