The Arc House Hong Kong opens later this year at 148 Wellington Street, Central. It’s a 24-room boutique hotel from Hong Kong-based Portier Hotels. Portier launched The Arc House on 4 November 2026, and the first property, The Arc House Canggu in Bali, is already open. Hong Kong is the second, and a 43-room Melbourne hotel is due in early 2027.
Book at The Arc House Hong Kong
The hotel puts you among Central’s galleries, heritage streets and restaurants. Alongside the rooms, there’s a Lounge, a rooftop terrace, a gym and a ground-floor restaurant called One Forty Eight Wellington, which will serve Cantonese food and drinks. Full menu details will be announced before opening.
Rates start from HK$1,635 per night. This is a small, design-focused hotel, not a family resort with kids’ clubs and pools. Still, the Double Twin rooms and the Junior Suite give travelling companions and small families some options.
Little Steps Insider Tip: The Arc House works best for parents with older kids or teens, or for couples and friends who want a stylish Central base. A Double Twin room suits two adults with one child, or two kids sharing. The Junior Suite adds a living area with an optional sleeper sofa. Rooms are boutique-sized, so check exact dimensions, cot or extra-bed availability and family policies before you book. Central’s streets are steep and full of stairs, so a lightweight stroller or baby carrier is easier than a full-size pram. The rooftop terrace is a good place to rest between outings.

Practical Tips for Visiting The Arc House Hong Kong with Kids
A rare design-led boutique stay right on Wellington Street puts you in the middle of Central without needing taxis for everything. The rooftop terrace, Lounge and on-site Cantonese restaurant give easy places to reset between exploring, while Double Twin and Junior Suite options make it workable for smaller family groups who prioritise location and style over large rooms.
Parents travelling with older children or teens who want a stylish Central base; couples or friends seeking a design-forward stay close to SoHo and Lan Kwai Fong; anyone who values walking access to art, heritage and dining over resort-style family amenities. Less ideal for toddlers or families needing connecting rooms, kids’ clubs or large spaces.
