    • What: Hong Kong brick brand KALOS has parked a retro American corner store on LG2 at Festival Walk from September 15 to October 4, 2026. Expect 45 LUB sets that turn crates, vending machines, vintage cars and street-corner scenes into things kids can snap, stack and take home — from HK$12 stickers and HK$88 figures to a HK$1,888 EPIX vending machine that dispenses a real Coke can when you drop in a KALOS coin. • Herzog & de Meuron: In Focus At M+ Museum

    From September 12
    • What: M+ turns five this year, and the museum is marking the occasion with a gift from the architects who designed the building itself. Herzog & de Meuron: In Focus unveils a major donation to the M+ Collections from the celebrated Swiss firm (founded 1978), bringing together newly donated models, drawings and material samples from their built and unbuilt projects across China. Little ones will love spotting the miniature versions of buildings they may already know — including M+ itself (2012–2021), Tai Kwun in Central (2006–2018) and Beijing's National Stadium, better known as the Bird's Nest (2002–2008) — alongside urban planning works that explore how landscape shapes the cities we live in.

  • Ocean Park Halloween Fest Pop-Ups At Hysan Place & ELEMENTS

    September 11 - 22, 2026
    • What: Not quite ready to brave the Park itself? Ocean Park's Halloween troupe is taking its ghoulish show on the road, with free pop-ups landing in two of the city's easiest malls to reach with kids in tow. First up is the G/F of Hysan Place in Causeway Bay (Kai Chiu Road entrance) from 11 to 22 September 2026, where families can pose at spooky-but-not-too-scary photo spots, hop into interactive photo booths and catch surprise dance performances by Ocean Park's costumed characters on select dates. The fun then shifts to the Metal Zone atrium at ELEMENTS in West Kowloon from 24 September to 11 October 2026, with live character meet-and-greets plus free face painting on selected days—always a winner with little ones. At both stops, don't miss the AR Mirror, which digitally dresses everyone up in Grave Rave party looks in real time and sends you off with a fun electronic invitation-style photo. It's a great low-commitment way to test how your crew handles the spooky stuff before booking tickets to the main Halloween Fest at Ocean Park!
    • When: September 11 - 22, 2026
    • Where: Hysan Place & Elements, Hong Kong, https://www.oceanpark.com.hk/en/a-day-at-the-park/events/halloween-fest-2026
  • Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2026

    September 5 - November 1, 2026
    • What: Hong Kong's biggest Halloween party is back, and this year it's a full-blown "Grave Rave" — over 120 ghouls roaming the grounds, led by Pumpkie and Spookie, Voodoo Boo, the Lady Ghost in Red and the Asylum Warden. Thrill-seekers get five haunted experiences, headlined by Under the Castle, a debut collaboration with Jackson Wang's fantasy IP, plus Voodoo Boo Terror Park (3D glasses required), Troublesome Night 8, Forbidden Asylum and the Hong Kong Paranormal Barrier — note some have age restrictions. Younger kids are well looked after with the Bulu Boo Trick-or-Treat Party, Trick or Roll games, the Horror-thrill Ocean Express and the Gala of Lights show at Aqua City Lagoon, while the Korean OPPAs return as underworld boy band "Demoon King." General admission is HK$538 adult / HK$269 child, with Triple Terror Combos from HK$238 and AEON cardholder discounts from 1 September. Can't make it to Aberdeen? Catch the free pop-ups at Hysan Place (11–22 Sept) and ELEMENTS (24 Sept – 11 Oct, with face-painting).

Maleficent leads Hades, Captain Hook, Jafar and Oogie Boogie down an expanded Main Street route in Uninvited! A Villains Takeover Party, and kids in their most fiendish costumes might be summoned to the villain tables. Expect roaming villains, Mickey and Friends in "Spooky Rock Band" looks, new Duffy costumes, trick-or-treating at more spots than last year, and Jack Skellington's The Nightmare Before Dinner back at River View Cafe (from HK$398 child / HK$498 adult).
