From late November to early January, Hong Kong fills up with Christmas markets, holiday fairs and festive bazaars, and many of them are free to enter. Families can browse the giant Prestige Fairs at Conrad Hong Kong, where more than 150 independent brands, artisans and gourmet producers sell gifts. Or head to West Kowloon (WestK) for Hong Kong WinterFest’s Christmas Town, with waterfront stalls, festive food and harbour views. You’ll also find handmade Christmas markets in Discovery Bay and Stanley, the European-style Christmas Village at K11 MUSEA, festive lights at Tai Kwun and Lee Tung Avenue, and Christmas markets in Central. Whether you’re shopping for unique gifts and stocking fillers or just want mulled wine, twinkling lights and a Christmas tree photo, there’s something for every age and budget.

When are Hong Kong’s Christmas markets in 2026?
Most run from mid-November to early January. Confirmed dates include Handmade Hong Kong at DB Plaza on 14–15 November, 28–29 November and 12–13 December, 11am to 6pm. Swire Properties’ White Christmas Street Fair is 3–6 December, 12pm to 8pm, at Taikoo Place. St John’s Cathedral Michaelmas Fair is Saturday 24 October 2026. WestK Christmas Market is typically mid-December to early January. Check the page for updates, as some dates are still TBC.
Which Christmas fairs are free to enter?
WestK Christmas Market at the Art Park’s Harbourside East Lawn is free, with stalls, workshops and performances. Prestige Christmas Fairs at Conrad Hong Kong’s Grand Ballroom are free, with 150-plus vendors, typically early to mid-December, 10am to 8pm. Highgate House Christmas Fair on The Peak is free. Where can I buy handmade Christmas gifts in Hong Kong?
Handmade Hong Kong runs weekend markets at DB Plaza on the dates above. St John’s Cathedral hosts a Christmas Card and Handicraft Fair, typically early November, with cathedral-designed cards. Is there a pet-friendly Christmas market?
Yes. WestK’s Christmas Market is pet-friendly, with food, gifts, crafts, pet goodies and free performances. It pairs with the nearby Christmas Forest of illuminated trees. Hours are typically 2pm to 9pm. Details are in the West Kowloon Christmas trees guide.
Where can I do Christmas shopping in Admiralty?
Conrad Hong Kong hosts the Prestige Fairs. Island Shangri-La runs a lobby market from mid-November to late December, typically 11am to 8pm, with chocolates, gingerbread and ornaments, near Santa’s Secret Kingdom. Upper House at Pacific Place has the Christmas House Market in mid-December. All three are easy from Admiralty MTR.
