If you’ve been wondering why there is a line of smartly-dressed people waiting to enter a mysterious-looking antiques shop on Hollywood Road at night, then you’re not alone. It is the entrance of the newly-opened hot nightspot Maggie Choo’s.
Designed by the world-famous Ashley Sutton (of Iron Fairies, The Mixing Room and Dragonfly), Maggie Choo’s is Hong Kong’s newest luxury nightlife and cocktail destination. Expect a night of old-world glamour of the Far East, cabaret and entertainment, as well as live music from talented jazz and blues bands, inventive cocktails and late-night bites.
To add to this exciting new concept’s intrigue, Maggie Choo’s has an incredible story behind it: the eponymous heroine is an orphaned girl who inherited her war-torn family’s antique shop only to discover a hidden door behind it, leading to an abandoned bank built by the East India Company in 1847. What lies behind the iron-clad bank vault’s doors is up to you to discover but will most likely transport you on a glamorous and magical night.
We just love Ashley Sutton's immersive designs that just transport you into another world. And Maggie Choo's doesn't disappoint - beautiful decor, live music, cabaret, and more.
