From the moment we stepped into The Murray, we felt the warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Our toddler was thrilled with the thoughtfully curated kids' welcome pack, featuring an activity book, pencils, and an adorable cockatoo plush toy, sparking excitement for the adventures ahead.
We stayed in the Explorer Suite, which boasts stunning views of the city and harbor. The suite's practical layout, with a separate living room, was ideal for our family, which included a toddler and two newborns. The room was equipped with essentials like a sterilizer, bottle warmer, cots, and even beautiful kids' amenities. The blackout blinds and double-glazed windows ensured a peaceful environment for much-needed naps and bedtimes. The bathroom, adorned with luxurious Grown Alchemist amenities and gold finishes, added a touch of elegance.
The indoor pool quickly became a family favorite, offering a refreshing escape from the summer heat and rain. We also made a quick stop at the well-equipped gymnasium, perfect for a quick workout or stretch. For a more relaxing experience, the Wellness at The Murray offers an extensive menu of treatments, perfect for recharging.
The Murray, Hong Kong, spoils guests with a variety of dining options. For an enhanced stay add-on, The Cassia Lounge Package, which includes freshly cooked meals to order, an evening cocktail hour with free-flow Ruinart, premium spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. This was a highlight of our stay.
Our little one particularly enjoyed the array of cookies, cakes, burgers, fries, and fresh fruits. The hotel boasts five dining venues, each offering something unique. The Garden Lounge, open from noon, features themed family-friendly brunches and afternoon tea sets throughout the year. The Tai Pan restaurant offers a semi-buffet breakfast with a fantastic spread of Western and Asian dishes, catering to all tastes, and is also open for dinner offering a steakhouse experience including a carvery trolley and loads of grilled options.
Cotton Tree Terrace provides a more relaxed outdoor setting with wood-fired pizzas and Italian classics. For a stunning city view, Popinjays on the rooftop is the place to be, with a cocktail in hand and a diverse selection of European dishes.
The central location of The Murray, Hong Kong, in the bustling Central district, was perfect for our family's needs. Our toddler, Sofie, enjoyed exploring the vibrant streets and nearby parks, including Hong Kong Park and the Zoological and Botanical Gardens. The hotel's easy access to Hong Kong's extensive overhead walkway system made it convenient to navigate the city, even with little ones in tow.
We were able to explore Central Harbourfront and Pacific Place shopping mall, all within walking distance. The MTR station was also nearby, providing easy access to the city's many attractions, dining, and entertainment options.
Our stay at The Murray, Hong Kong, was an absolute delight. The perfect blend of luxury, convenience, and family-friendly amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The warm hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and excellent location made our Hong Kong adventure truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return for more family-friendly brunches and explore the city further!
