Their First Aid & CPR (IFA) course is for all who want to be able to offer informed help that could save someone's life. The course covers the basic principles of First Aid, hands-on practice, adult CPR and ensures that the participants will not be afraid to use their newly gained knowledge in situations when it's most needed! They are awarded an Attendance Certificate and a CPR Certificate (valid for 2 years) if they pass the test. The course is 6 hours long and held on request. St. John offers another, more specialized CPR course: Infant Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Course (ICPR). The course lasts for 3 hours during which participants learn the principles and practice the protocol of infant CPR. Those who pass the final assessment will be awarded an Infant CPR Certificate (valid for 2 years). Continuing Nursing Education points can be awarded to nursing and healthcare staff upon completing the course.
