Union Hospital's Emergency Medicine Centre is the first private facility in Hong Kong recognized by the Department of Health and the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine, and it is also the only private emergency centre in Kowloon and the New Territories with this recognition.
They also specialize and offer a 24-hour Thrombolysis service for patients with acute myocardial infarction and a Stroke Emergency service.
Do They Offer Emergency Pediatric Care? They also have a Pediatrics Department and General Practice/Family Medicine service at Union Hospital, which is composed of several experienced doctors from various fields of pediatric medicine. They have a 24-hour outpatient department that offers comprehensive general outpatient services at any time during the day. No prior appointment is required. However, they do not have an Accident & Emergency service.
There are also specialized outpatient services such as a specialized ENT Centre, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dental, Surgery, Radiotherapy and Oncology Centre. However, these services are only offered at certain hours of the day and by appointment.
St Paul's also supports the Health Care Voucher Pilot Scheme for the elderly aged 65 and up.
