Best Discovery Bay Playgrounds For Kids From Beach To Parks
Outdoor Playing Fun!
Discovery Bay is full of parks. From small children’s favorites to big kids picks, we’ve scouted them out for you. Our top three are listed below.
Beach Playground:
Located on the beach near the main plaza, this park has a swing set with bucket seats for babies. There are also slides and jungle gym for the bigger kids. Plus, there is easy access to restrooms, showers and changing tables. Have a picnic or take a break at one of the covered tables. The beach playground is walkable from the main plaza.
Digger Playground:
Located on the main road in Discovery Bay, in between the main plaza and the north plaza, this sandy spot also has bucket-style swings for babies and jungle gym equipment for big kids. The biggest draw is the two metal diggers. There are shady benches where mom and dad can watch their little tykes at work. Digger playground is walkable from the main plaza.
Central Park:
This is the biggest park in DB and located in Siena. Here kids will be impressed with the cool secret paths, big rocks and waterfalls. Don’t forget bread to feed the hungry fish and friendly turtles swimming in the ponds! This park has great playground facilities and boasts botanical beauty. There is a lot of green space for running, ball games and picnicking! the The C9 or C4 bus will take passengers from the Discovery Bay Plaza and pier to Siena where Central Park is located.
