Located on the ground floor of Olympian City 2, near the Cherry Street taxi stand, OC Commons is more than just a playground—it’s a vibrant community hub created as a welcoming urban “living room.” The space features plenty of open areas, greenery, and dedicated zones where kids can explore freely while adults enjoy a moment to unwind.

Playground Highlights

Co-created with the Playright Children’s Play Association, the OC Commons Playground focuses on child-led, inclusive play rather than just aesthetic structures. Playright, a Hong Kong-based non-profit, is devoted to promoting the importance of play in children’s holistic development. Since 1987, they’ve worked to create safe, innovative play environments while raising awareness about how play fosters creativity, resilience, and social skills.

The thoughtfully designed play zones encourage climbing, balancing, social interaction, and imaginative games—perfect for after-school adventures or weekend fun.

OC Commons Brings Play And Community To Olympian City

The OC Commons Playground, spanning 15,000 square feet, is built around three themed zones—the Kinetic Zone, Sensory Zone, and Dynamic Zone—each designed to encourage holistic child development through fun, inclusive, and active play. Featuring 13 play facilities, the zones support physical, emotional, and social growth while inspiring creativity and collaboration.

  • Kinetic Zone: Warm up with the 38-meter Adventure Net Ring and the Bamboo Maze, designed to challenge strength, courage, and problem-solving.
  • Sensory Zone: Activate coordination with colorful slopes, a hill trampoline, and the Climbing Bamboo to explore balance and sensory experiences.
  • Dynamic Zone: Unleash energy with tree-like climbing structures, swings, slides, and an inclusive carousel for children of all abilities.

OC Commons Playground Details:

  • Opening Date: 12 February 2026 (preview section available from 10–11 February).
  • Operating Hours: Daily, 10am–9pm (cleaning break from 2:30pm–3pm). On opening day, the play areas will open at 5pm.
