 1. YOU DON’T NEED TO SPEAK FRENCH TO JOIN THE SCHOOL
Students can join the French stream (until the end of primary school) even if they don’t speak French or the International stream, where lessons are conducted in English.

2. FIS WAS THE FIRST IB SCHOOL IN HONG KONG
FIS has been in Hong Kong since 1963 – more than 60 years! And in 1988, became the first international school in Hong Kong to be authorized as an IB World School.

3. FIS HAS FOUR CAMPUSES
You can choose to study at schools in Jardine’s Lookout, Tseung Kwan O, Chai Wan and Happy Valley. FIS works with several different bus companies, offers 80 routes and almost 600 stops.

4. THERE ARE TWO STREAMS AND UNIQUE CROSS-STREAM OPPORTUNITIES
Students in the French stream follow the French national curriculum, from kindergarten through to the French Baccalauréat. Students in the international stream follow a program based on the English National Curriculum leading to iGCSE and the IB. Cross-stream projects are organized in order to broaden students learning experience.

As a multilingual school, they believe that young children acquire languages naturally and effortlessly. They prioritize creating a rich, immersive environment to fully optimize the learning process. In Kindergarten, students learn through French and English immersion while beginning their journey in Mandarin.
