This sequel returns to one of Disney’s most iconic fashion-world stories, with sharp dialogue, big personalities, and plenty of style, starring the original cast aka Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, as well as others. While it’s not a kids’ film, it will be a fun pick for older teens and parents who loved the original.
Set after the fall of the Empire, this new Star Wars adventure follows the fledgling New Republic as it works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for. Legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu are enlisted to help, making this a big-screen outing that should appeal to both longtime fans and families alike. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White, with production from Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, and music by Ludwig Göransson.
The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time it’s toy meets tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the rest of the gang find their jobs challenged when they’re introduced to what kids are obsessed with today: electronics.
In Disney’s live-action reimagining of the beloved Oscar-nominated animated adventure, Moana answers the Ocean’s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the demigod Maui on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people. The film is directed by Thomas Kail and produced by Dwayne Johnson, Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, with Auliʻi Cravalho among the executive producers.
Disney’s Marvel universe continues with another major superhero event film packed with action and spectacle. This one is best suited to older kids, teens, and adults who follow the Marvel storyline closely.
A wild adventure through dinosaurs and lava sends Manny, Sid, Diego, Ellie, Scrat, and the herd into uncharted regions of the dangerous Lost World. The next chapter in the Ice Age franchise should deliver the same goofy energy, fast-moving chaos, and family-friendly comedy that made the series such a hit.
In a rebuilding galaxy, a solitary pilot becomes entangled in a crucial mission as new threats emerge. Directed by Shawn Levy and written by George Lucas and Jonathan Tropper, Star Wars: Starfighter follows this lone starship pilot on a journey that may alter the future of the Force itself. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Amy Adams, and Mia Goth, blending the classic Star Wars mix of adventure, mysticism, and big‑screen spectacle.
