Clearwater Bay dwellers looking for a new place to play should journey to Tseung Kwan O swimming pool complex. There’s a large main pool, training pool, two teaching pools, a diving pool, two leisure pools and one for toddlers!  There are also mega slides creating more of a waterpark feel.  If you’re in the area, you can pop over to the Tseung Kwan O public library or head to the mall in the MTR station packed with foodie options.

Another favorite in the New Territories, this pool is a favorite amongst residents around the area (including families in Clearwater Bay). Many call this pool a waterpark with its awesome selection of waterslides, 4 leisure pools, animal water toys, and more. The nearby park is awesome for a picnic before or after and has a huge playground.

Definitely one of the more entertaining and kid-friendly public swimming pools in Hong Kong! This public pool has three sizeable outdoor leisure pools that come complete with waterfalls, rocks and a footbridge. The islands in the middle make for an excellent sunbathing spot for the ones who like a good tan in the summer. And if you're not done with playing outdoors? This destination public pool is popular with families with kids of all ages. You will find a slew of waterslides, water shooters, and fountains too. For the little kids, they have a toddler pool while older tots and kids can explore the famous pirate ship (located inside). It’s a bit out of the way for most, but the newly-opened Kwun Tong pool has got the mommy community in a whirl. Not only are the indoor facilities top-notch, but there’s also a secondary pool outside along with two teaching pools. What’s more, is that there’s a spacious sunbathing area that begs for a cool drink and a lay-down.

Tucked away behind Happy Valley Racecourse and surrounded by neighboring high schools is the Morrison Hill public swimming pool. Not only is this unexpected pool a quiet retreat on most weekdays and it also has a resto where parents can stock up on snacks while the little ones do laps in the spacious pool. There are rows of lounge chairs, ideal for soaking up the sun and flipping through glossy mags for a leisure day by the pool.
