Migrasia is a Hong Kong charity addressing the challenges faced by migrant workers and their families. With millions migrating throughout Asia for work, Migrasia educates about migration realities (the side many of us never see). They expose deceptive practices, provide support, and offer training programs to enhance skills and livelihoods. By focusing on education, Migrasia fosters empathy and compassion in the younger generation. With the future impact of migration in mind, Migrasia seeks to create a more equitable society. Starting in Hong Kong and the Philippines, their work has expanded across Asia and Europe, using technology, innovative legal approaches, and data sharing to drive transformative change and advocate for fair labor migration practices industry-wide.

Akilah started in 2009 as the Akilah Institute for Women and became the top place in East Africa for women to become leaders and succeed in their careers. In 2020, after ten years of making a positive difference, the Akilah team started Davis College. It's a school for both boys and girls where they can continue their education after high school. They wanted to help more students have access to our really good diploma programs. The Akilah Women's Center within David College offers programs and services to help girls become leaders and succeed in their careers. One of these programs is called the African Women's Workforce Initiative, and it was made possible with the help of funding and support from Google.org.
