Andrew Stow introduced Portuguese egg tarts to Macau in 1989 and his ubiquitous tarts bring him fame and franchises across Asia.
Following a trip to Portugal where he tried the local Pasteis de Nata, Stow decided to add a little twist and create his own version upon his return to Macau. Experimentation ensued and Stow developed his secret recipe of “Portuguese” Egg Tart for which his bakery rose to fame and became an edible icon for Macau. Today a trip to Macau is never complete without one of Lord Stow’s egg tarts. No kids or parents can resist the temptation of the silkily creamy egg custard nestled in the perfectly crisp pastry!
Lord Stow's Bakery's quality egg tarts contain no additives or preservatives and are always fresh out of the oven.
A sweet treat for everyone.
There are branches across Macao with four shops in Coloane, including the original, one in Taipa and one at The Venetian Macao. Lord Stow's egg tarts can also be found in Hong Kong, Japan and the Philippines.
