Macao has a delicious treat in store in March 2026 with the arrival of the International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, a tasty food event that showcases culinary offerings from the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) Cities of Gastronomy, including Chengdu, Phuket, Bergamo, Belém, Kuching and more.
International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao
- When Is It? Friday March 20-Sunday March 29, 2026, Monday to Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-10pm
- Where Is It? Main Venue: Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Roman Square and Legend Avenue; Monday to Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-10pm. Sub-venue: Pedestrian area of Guangzhou Street and Shanghai Street, New Port Area

THE SCOOP: What To Expect At International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao?
Eat and drink your way around different food cultures
- International Gastronomy Promenade: This brings together 22 UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy from China and overseas, each setting up a unique food booth to create a grand and culturally rich culinary extravaganza.
- City of Gastronomy Showcase: See chefs from 25 Cities of Gastronomy present 53 exciting culinary demonstrations, share cooking techniques, and food culture.
- International Gastronomy Forum: Experts from the food and beverage, academic, policy, and creative fields will explore how cross-sectoral collaboration in the culinary world can drive the development of creative cities (NB this event takes place on March 23, 2026, 9.30am-12.30pm, Fisherman’s Wharf)
- World Wines Lounge: Wine merchants from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Australia, and France will present a diverse selection of wines, beers, whiskies, and spirits.
- Global Goodies Market: Browse food and souvenirs 16 Cities of Gastronomy and five other creative cities, with packaged foods, specialty sauces, souvenirs, tea, coffee, tableware, and more.
