What is the SkyOrb cabin at the Singapore Cable Car?
SkyOrb is the world’s first chrome-finished spherical cable car cabin on the Mount Faber Line. It features a glass-bottom floor for views below and lights up at night, giving families a futuristic ride between Mount Faber and Sentosa.
Is the SkyOrb cabin suitable for kids and families?
Yes. The ride is gentle and scenic, perfect for all ages. Kids love looking through the glass floor at the sea and city below. Cabins hold up to six people, making it easy for small families to ride together.
How do I ride the SkyOrb cabin?
SkyOrb operates on the Mount Faber Line. You can buy a dedicated SkyOrb ticket or upgrade a regular Mount Faber Line or Sky Pass ticket for one way. Board at Mount Faber, HarbourFront or Sentosa stations.
How much does the SkyOrb upgrade cost?
Existing Mount Faber Line or Sky Pass holders can upgrade one way for about SG$15 on weekdays and SG$20 on weekends and public holidays. Full round-trip SkyOrb tickets for non-members start from SG$40.80 per adult and SG$31.50 per child.
When is the best time to ride SkyOrb with kids?
Daytime offers clear views of the harbor and Sentosa. Sunset and evening rides are magical when the cabins light up. Arrive early or late to avoid peak queues, and check operating hours (usually until 9:30pm last boarding).

Mount Faber Line and Cable Car Sky Pass ticket holders have the privilege of upgrading one-way of their round trip (between Mount Faber and Sentosa Cable Car Stations) to a SkyOrb Cabin experience. This upgrade costs SG$15 per person on weekdays, and SG$20 per person on weekends and Public Holidays.
