Get ready for an immersive journey through Southeast Asia’s lush rainforests as Rainforest Wild Asia, Singapore’s newest zoological park. Nestled within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, this one-of-a-kind experience brings visitors closer than ever to the region’s incredible biodiversity with highly immersive habitats, treetop adventures, and exciting guided experiences.
Rainforest Wild Asia takes wildlife exploration to a whole new level with three distinct layers of adventure. Wander through expansive walkways on the forest floor, scale the tree canopy for a bird’s-eye view, or descend into cave chambers inspired by Sarawak’s Mulu Caves. Expect close encounters with Southeast Asia’s iconic species, from the elusive Malayan tiger to the playful Malayan sun bear.
Adventure seekers can take exploration to the next level with a range of thrilling add-ons. Adventure Plus activities include the Canopy Jump, a simulated free fall from a 13- or 20-metre platform, and the Critter Crawl, a 60-metre cave tunnel adventure. For those craving an even greater challenge, the Black Adventure guided tours take participants through the Wild Apex Adventure via ferrata paths and suspended bridges or the Wild Cavern Adventure with abseiling, boulder navigation, and an ascent to the spectacular Oculus viewpoint.
Thanks to AIA Singapore, visitors of all ages can experience the AIA Vitality Bounce, an open-air bouncing playground designed to promote dynamic play and mental wellness. AIA also sponsors the Malayan tapir habitat, reinforcing their commitment to wildlife conservation and healthy living.
Rainforest Wild Asia offers four unique dining experiences. Grab quick bites at Rangers Cafe, enjoy Southeast Asian specialties at Sentinel Foodhall, or relax at Watering Hole Cafe with stunning views of the Malayan tapir habitat. For an unforgettable meal, Cavern Restaurant—the only restaurant in Singapore set within a cave—offers an atmospheric setting for casual lunches or elegant evening events.
Rainforest Wild Asia opens to the public on March 12, 2025 and will operate daily from 9am to 6pm (last entry at 5pm).
As a special opening promotion, local residents can enjoy discounted admission rates from March 12 to March 31, 2025:
Visitors can also sign up for WildPass, a free digital membership offering discounts on tickets, retail, and dining. For unlimited visits, consider the Friends of Rainforest Wild Asia or Friends of Mandai memberships, starting at SG$130 per year.
Rainforest Wild Asia is so much more than a zoo; it’s an adventure-packed destination where kids and adults can connect with nature while exploring different landscapes and animals. The interactive habitats and variety of trails create an exciting outing that combines learning, fun, and a sense of wilderness.
Perfect for families, school groups, nature lovers, and thrill-seekers, this park offers a little something for everyone. With accessible paths and adventurous elements, Rainforest Wild Asia is a great choice for young explorers and adults alike.
Rainforest Wild Asia is just the beginning. The next phase will bring Rainforest Wild Africa, featuring the rich landscapes and wildlife of the Afro-Tropical region and Madagascar. Stay tuned for more thrilling adventures!
