Rainforest Wild Adventure Expands: Phase 2 Opens At Mandai Wildlife Reserve!
Singapore’s New Adventure-Based Zoo!
Rainforest Wild Adventure, Asia’s first adventure-based wildlife park, is celebrating its first anniversary with exciting news! A second phase of this immersive destination will soft-open to the public starting May 20, 2026, ahead of its grand opening later in the month. Visitors can now explore the park’s full 20 hectares of lush, naturalistic habitats, which bring to life the rainforests of Asia and Africa.
This expanded wildlife park at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve seamlessly combines adVENTURE, breathtaking wildlife, and a commitment to conservation. With something for every level of explorer, the expanded park is set to inspire thrill-seekers, wildlife enthusiasts, and families alike.

Key Highlights: The Full Rainforest Wild Adventure Experience
Expanded Adventure Activities – Choose Your PathWith the soft opening of Rainforest Wild Adventure East, guests now have access to nine Adventure+ activities across both zones. Highlights of the newest additions include:
- Canopy Glider: Glide above the treetops for a bird’s-eye view.
- Ravine Swing: Soar 8 metres high while overlooking habitats housing the eastern bongo and red river hog.
- Split Rock Summit: A rewarding harnessed climb to an 11-metre-high pinnacle with sweeping views of lemur habitats.
- Primate Climb: Scale a strangler fig tree to peek at Diana monkeys in their element.
- Treetop Traverse: A thrilling 125-metre harnessed walkway where wildlife sightings can happen at any turn below.
For those seeking a more adrenaline-pumping challenge, Rainforest Wild Adventure West features guided Black Adventure activities, including via ferrata climbs, a simulated underground cave expedition, and abseiling.

Immersive Wildlife & Natural Habitats
Okapi, Pygmy Hippos & MoreThe expanded Rainforest Wild Adventure East introduces Afro-tropical and Madagascan habitats, where guests can discover an exciting array of species. Highlights include:
- Okapi, a fascinating and elusive relative of the giraffe, making its Southeast Asia debut at Mandai. Rainforest Wild Adventure is home to four okapis, part of a conservation initiative to protect genetically diverse populations of this endangered species.
- Pygmy Hippos, eastern bongos, red river hogs, and Nile lechwe, alongside lemurs, turacos, and ibises in a stunning multi-species Madagascar habitat.
The naturalistic environments offer animals the freedom to express natural behaviors and create opportunities for spontaneous wildlife encounters for visitors.

National Geographic Pop-Ups
Amazing MerchandiseTo celebrate the second phase, Mandai Wildlife Group partnered with The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia to launch National Geographic Pop-Up stores in both zones. These stores feature adventure-inspired National Geographic Apparel collections, along with displays of iconic photography that ignite a love for exploration and nature.

Tickets & Promotions
Packages & DealsRainforest Wild Adventure East opens daily from May 20, 2026, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Guests can easily travel between the East and West zones on a free M1 East-West shuttle or connect from Khatib MRT via the M2 Khatib Shuttle.
Ticket Options:
- Local Residents (with free WildPass Membership):
- Adults: SG$50
- Children (3-12) / Local Students (up to age 25): SG$35
- Seniors: SG$25
- Non-Residents:
- Adults: SG$55
- Children (3-12): SG$39
As part of the soft opening promotion, all ticket holders can access up to nine Adventure+ activities on weekdays and five activities on weekends, with additional experiences available for purchase.
