Hot off the press – The Hong Kong Children’s Discovery Museum closed their North Point location but is now currently hosting a Pop-Up Museum in Tseun Wan! HKCDM Pop Up in Hong Kong is dedicated to families and an excellent option for indoor edutainment!  They will host their interactive educational exhibits here while a new location for the full museum is confirmed. This pop-up is aimed at children 10 years old and under. Prepare for a world of tinkering, play, and creativity.

Areas of focus are language and literacy, S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), culture, and environmental awareness/stewardship.

4 Exhibition Areas:

1. Our Natural World, Our Consumer World – Explore the world of nature and learn about ways we can protect our environment.

2. Tinkering Lab – Build it. Test it. Create it!

3. Story Stage – Make, direct, and role-play a story of your own at Story Stage.

4. Transit Tots – A fabulous area dedicated to transport-loving toddlers ages 3 and under.

 

What to bring: 

Socks – some areas require them!

Water Bottles – water fountains are available for re-fill

Extra set of clothing – if your kids like to get wet in the play areas.

Coins for lockers – if needed (HK$5 returned after use)
