ESF: Three New Kindergartens Now Open Across Hong Kong

West Kowloon, Kornhill And Sai Sha add about 400 first-year places and a K1 to Year 13 pathway
The English Schools Foundation opened three kindergartens in August 2026, taking the network to 24 schools. New sites in Tai Kok Tsui (West Kowloon), Kornhill (Quarry Bay) and Sai Sha replace the Tung Chung and Sai Kung kindergartens and add roughly 400 first-year places. All three follow the IB Primary Years Programme. From K1 entry in 2027/28, families are told their linked primary at application, with a guaranteed place after kindergarten, then the existing primary-to-secondary links through to Year 13.

HKIS: Dragon Center For Activities And Athletics Now Open In Tai Tam

22,700 sqm sports and wellbeing hub next to the Tai Tam field

Hong Kong International School’s Dragon Center for Activities and Athletics (DCAA) opened on 1 November 2025 and is now the home of the Dragons at Tai Tam.

The nine-storey, 22,700 sqm building (more than HK$1 billion) sits beside the school field and is used for PE, training, after-school activities and competitions. Two gyms, an eight-lane 25-metre pool, rooftop tennis, climbing, a fitness centre, a golf simulator, plus dance, martial arts, spin and rowing studios.
