Following its immense success in 2022, Little Steps Asia is launching the second installment of its summer camp in Hong Kong exclusively for tweens and teens. This 5-day camp is focused on everything entrepreneurship and is taught by combining real-world experience with loads of fun! If you have a child ages 12-17 who is interested in learning more about entrepreneurship and business – book them in! Teens will have a chance to develop a mini business from idea to launch with plenty of support, examples, and feedback. This Summer, Justice Centre Hong Kong will again provide training to an ambitious group of Young Advocates interested in exploring a career in law and refugee protection. Young Advocates are briefed by lawyers to provide support in real asylum cases, helping to conduct legal research, prepare submissions and attend client interviews. The program is packed with site visits and external exposure, including international organizations and the legal sector in Hong Kong. Students will receive one-on-one personal coaching and mentorship from highly-qualified international lawyers and develop their research, reasoning, and public speaking skills. The YASC is a great way for students to build their legal experience and profile.
A favorite in Hong Kong, Treasure Island is known for teaching kids and teens how to surf! For pre-teens and teens, they also offer an adventure summer camp that includes day and overnight camps with a mix of adventure activities: biking, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, abseiling, gorging, and one night of overnight expedition. Faust Summer Programmes (Summer Theatre, Creative Writing, Musical Theatre) are back with week-long holiday programmes aim to provide a fun-filled learning environment and experience for children (ages 3 to 15) to develop their self-confidence and teamwork on the stage and on the page, while fostering a respectful environment in which participating students learn from each other’s experiences.
This Summer, they have 3 different week-long programmes available in various locations across Hong Kong: Summer Theatre (3 - 15 years) to boost confidence, communication and expressive skills through drama-based challenges, acting and movement! Creative Writing (6-14 years). Learn and practice new writing techniques to express yourself confidently on the page. Then there's Musical Theatre (8 - 15 years) to develop your child's skills in singing, dancing and acting and learn how to be a triple-threat performer!
Come and join the Summer Fest at ActiveKids, where there will be 3 to 5-day camps for kids. There are plenty of great activities to choose from: STEM Science to learn about physics, chess for a great brain workout, and cooking so your child can bring home something delicious! There are also activities on coding and building robots with Arduino systems, an aquatic-themed creative art session, and the opportunity to construct a mermaid dress for a fun fashion show!
Does your kid love to rock out? Then sign them up for the Rock School recording camp (7-14 years) at The Living Room, where they can play, learn songs and write their own song together. There's also a three-day session, Rock School Jr (5-7 years) where they can try out different instruments. Older teens will love the Recording Camp (12-18 years), where they can creating, recording and mixing their own original demo song to take home. Children must have some prior musical knowledge to attend this camp. They also do fishing outings for kids aged 9-14 years, HK$500 for trip, contact them for details.
