Highgate House Summer School is a place which enables children to flourish in a nurturing and spacious environment carefully thought out according to their needs. Their summer programme has plenty of options from 3 months to-8-year-olds such as immersive activities and crafts, outdoor frolicking and exploration (Water Splash Days once a week included!) on their very special and unique 4000 sq ft outdoor playground and garden area! 4-to-8-year-olds have an additional fun twist with thematic weeks covering cooking, woodwork, painting, sewing, tie-dying, wet felting, gardening and clay modelling, as well as making musical instruments and more. Enrolment is blocks-based (you can opt for 1 to 8 blocks), with one block being one week of theme-based, educational fun.

The Details: Highgate House Summer School

What: A wonderfully comprehensive Summer School program by the Highgate House School, which is accredited as a Steiner Waldorf Pre School, i.e. one where kids get an education of “the head, heart and hands.” There are different groups of differently organized classes for different age groups (click on each to learn the details!):

• Kindergarten (3-6 years)
• Activities (4-8 years old, similar to our kindergarten with the additional challenge of a project for older children e.g. crafts, cooking and activities week by week)
• Nursery (2-4 years)
• Parent/Carer & Child (accompanied, 1-2.5 years)
• Extended Day:  Creative Activities (2-7 years)
• Extended Day:  Mandarin (2-7years)
