Sohofama, the latest addition to the dining scene at PMQ, is a welcome break from Western Cuisines in the area, serving up wholesome old-school Cantonese favorites including fried tiger prawns with salted egg yolk, tea-smoked duck with homemade pickles, traditional pan fried pancake with spring onion, and steamed whole crab in organic egg whites. Drool!
This forward-thinking dining destination on the ground floor of PMQ houses a mini-farm in their outdoor seating area growing herbs and seasonal vegetables used in the dishes. All dishes are MSG and chicken powder-free, leaving the palette clean to savor the true flavors of fresh produce, made extra flavorful by use of seasonal herbs and slow-cooked chicken broth.
Sohofama is the brainchild of Hong Kong lifestyle brand G.O.D. and Locofama, supporter of local farming and consumption and an organic restaurant/cafe in Sai Ying Pun.
Share a family meal together and experience Chinese comfort foods fresh!
Use of fresh local produce and sustainable organic foods, free from preservatives, additives, or genetically modified vegetables and meats. At Sohofama you can be sure that you and your family are getting what's best for the body, what's best for the earth.
A gathering of friends and family for a hearty meal.
Easy bench seating and high chairs are also available. Watch as the outdoor-seating area is transformed to yoga studio or workshop space like at Locofama's on weekends.
