Calling all eco-friendly moms and dads – Redress, the environmental NGO working to reduce waste in the fashion industry, is opening their first ever permanent space– the Redress Closet – making it easier for you to be fashionable and sustainable. Based in Sham Shui Po, the newly curated second-hand clothing and accessories shop will continue to address the problems of the fashion industry such as textile waste and clothing-inundated landfills by showcasing the beauty of pre-loved items.
Following a decade of pop-ups to reduce clothing waste and raise funds for Redress’ work, the Redress Closet is a response to the HK community’s growing desire to be a part of the solution. The store will feature pre-loved womenswear, menswear, accessories, and bags at accessible prices so that everyone can still enjoy beautiful clothing and contribute to a better Earth while not breaking the bank.
After serving your shopping needs at the Redress Closet, you may also want to make room for your ‘new’ threads. Partnering with various leading fashion brands, Redress’ Takeback programs allows you to give your quality, used-clothing another life by dropping them off at one of their convenient locations, where Redress will either re-sell them through their various platforms or distribute them to charities.
Be a part of the solution, reduce the amount of post-consumer clothing entering Hong Kong’s landfills, and enjoy sustainable fashion all-year round at the Redress Closet.
A permanent space for parents to enjoy guilt-free, sustainable shopping all-year round.
Eco-friendly moms and dads wanting to be fashionable and still eco-conscious.
You can also help contribute to Redress' work through donations that help them tackle the problems of the polluting fashion and textile industry.
Opening Hours: Wednesday to Sunday - 12pm - 7pm.
