For our first year, we’re focusing on Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, with plans to expand to additional countries in 2027. What’s more? We are celebrating international boarding schools with 5 key categories!
The awards feature two exciting parts:
- Expert-judged categories (selected by our panel of 5 experienced education professionals)
- Reader-voted initiatives (powered by our amazing Little Steps community of parents and families)
It’s regional, community-driven, and designed to highlight academic excellence, innovative programs, outstanding leadership, and meaningful community impact in schools that go above and beyond. We want to hear about the remarkable achievements that deserve recognition!

In true Little Steps style, our categories blend practical excellence (like top curriculum awards) with fun, heartfelt recognition (think Community School Spirit and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year).

How do you nominate for the Little Steps School Awards?
- Nominate your favorites here - all nominations are by schools (NOW - Deadline: March 1, 2026!), and voting happens next by the community and experts (MARCH-APRIL). At this stage, we just need your nomination by the deadline. Team Little Steps will be shortlisting the finalists.
What Are The Deadlines For Nomination And Voting?
- NOMINATIONS: Open Now - March 1, 2026
- READER VOTING ON INITIATIVES: April 15-May 15, 2026
- PANEL VOTING ON KEY CATEGORIES: May-July 2026
- WINNERS ANNOUNCED: August 15, 2026
Who are the experts for the Key Categories?
- We will announce them in March - stay tuned! They are getting curated now by Team Little Steps.
Can You Earn More Than One Award?
- Of course! Fill in as many as you like. You can choose multiple categories in one nomination to save time. If you need to go in-depth for a particular category, feel free to nominate a separate form for that category, but this is optional.
Is There A Fee?
- Good news! In our inaugural year, there is no fee for nominations or winning. If you are interested in speaking with our sales team about our limited award sponsorship opportunities, please email advertise@littlestepsasia.com. We will have packages available for finalists and winners to promote themselves further in August as well!
