Molo’s responsibility – to protect future generations

Molo works towards implementing the 10 Principles of UN Global Compact, and their manufacturing Code of Conduct is based on these principles. They only work with suppliers that have been certified. 90% of their suppliers have, either a BSCI or Oeko-Tex certified or both, and 95% of their technical outerwear suppliers are Bluesign certified.

Another requirement is that all of their suppliers follow the REACH directive which is a regulation by the European Union, created to protect human health and the environment.

This innovative Danish kidswear brand has come a long way in its quest for sustainability, but now with its new Oeko-Tex certification, Molo once again proves to its customers that all their products are free from harmful, radical chemicals and materials.

Molo is 1 of 3 Test Winners PFC-Free Test Hosted by the Norwegian Institute of Water Research

The Norwegian Institute for Water Research did an independent survey in Norway of the amounts of Perfluorinated compounds and other pollutants/PFC’s in children’s clothes and babywear and Molo came out as a clear top-three test winner! Only 3 out of 34 brands passed!

Why is it important for clothes being PFC-free? According to FIOH, Norway’s largest environmental organizations, PFC’s are severely damaging to the environment and can be a health risk to workers in low-cost production countries. Molo takes this issue very seriously.

The Best Danish Kidswear Brand in 2018

Molo is very excited to announce that Molo has won the award as best Danish Children’s Wear Brand 2018 that was hosted by Børrn I Byen a famous Danish site for everything connected to family life. More importantly, this is the 6th consecutive time that Molo has won this award!
