Celebrate China’s 61st birthday with a glittering fireworks display over Victoria Harbor. Little Steps shares our short-list of top spots to view National Day fireworks in the city. The show starts at 9:00 p.m. sharp!
Along with this amazing view comes an enormous crowd! Arrive early to stake out your space as the elbows will likely start flying early. Tickets required.
There is no doubt that watching the fireworks from the deck of a boat in the Fragrant Harbour is the way to go! Organize a private junk boat with Jubilee Junks or Saffron Cruises to view the fireworks in the center of the action.
There are various extraordinary venues at IFC to take in the fireworks. The good news is the ones with the best views are free! As with everything surrounding the National Day celebrations, arrive early.
Wanchai and Causeway Bay are jam packed with people on any given day. Expect the same on National Day. The open area at Wanchai Convention and Exhibition Center is a great spot to see the show, but arrive early and plan to stay late as catching a taxi home will be a serious challenge.
