Hot of the press! One-size-fits-all playgrounds just became a thing of the past as Hong Kong gets its first Puffy Park.
For this year’s holidays from December 7 to January 5, D‧PARK and cross-disciplinary architect Sanny Ng are gifting you a new, creative, nature-inspired playground experience. Puffy Park was inspired by Japan’s national parks and their mix of wonder, wide skies – and trampolines. Its theme is “The Form of Water” and it’s a bouncy playground, but also public art, modern architecture, and state-of-the-art technology.
There are five check-in spots. First, your kiddos can jump their hearts out at three Puffy Clouds of different heights, for kids aged 2-4, 4-8, and above 8 each. These unique trampolines are made from super-safe material patented specifically for this occasion! Then there’s the Puffy Wall where the kids can get creative, silly, and inspired by playing with their own imprints in this soft interactive installation. They can also test their agility in House of Bubbles – there are bubbles being blown around one of the park’s igloos! Crystals and sunlight are a match made in heaven in the Crystal Heaven, which awes with its play of light. Finally, Sparkling Bubble Kingdom is the perfect bubble-dome to take a perfectly sparkly picture (no filter!), or just stare in awe. Make sure to give your family the gift of experiencing this unique, fun, cross-disciplinary work of art and play!
Puffy Park is free of charge and open from December 7, 2019, to January 5, 2020, Mon-Fri noon-8pm, weekend & holidays 11:30am-8:30pm.
Puffy Park was designed for both kids and adults who like to see what happens when playgrounds are also fun for your brains, eyes, and soul.
