A new fun family-friendly exhibition has just landed in Harbour City! “Planet Walala @Harbour City” is an immersive and vibrant public art exhibition by the famous French artist Camille Walala. Running from March 21 to April 21, the exhibition features three key attractions: two large-scale installations and a unique solo art show. The Ocean Terminal Deck is now home to the innovative “Now You See It, Now You Don’t,” the very first Hong Kong City Sign, which stands as a permanent artistic beacon at three meters tall and 6.5 meters wide. Additionally, adults and kids alike can lose themselves in “A-MAZE,” Walala’s first outdoor labyrinth, covering 3,500 square feet of playful twists and turns.
At the Gallery by the Harbour, Camille Walala’s inaugural solo exhibition “Metropolis” spotlights her 12 abstract paintings, drawing inspiration from Hong Kong’s architecture. Known for her Tribal-Pop aesthetic, Camille Walala transforms urban landscapes into joyful art experiences using vivacious colors and bold geometric patterns. Her creations range from murals to 3D structures and interior designs, infusing art into everyday spaces and fostering a connection between the community and the city’s architectural charm. In addition, there are Family Art Jamming sessions to book for the kids and the Insta360 Photography Classroom.
Operating hours: March 21 – April 21, 2024 from 10:00am – 10:00pm
