Established in 1985, the Hong Kong Institute of Languages offers children, teens, and adults opportunities to broaden their horizons and open new doors with the lifelong asset of languages, whether it’s English, Mandarin, French, German, Spanish, Cantonese or Japanese that you’re looking for!
The School supports language learning at all levels, including foundation to advanced as well as mother-tongue support. Language courses are also available to help and assist children prepare for exams, whether it’s confidence building through learning exam techniques, and practicing through mock exams, or tailor-made refresher courses.
Their classes are available weekdays after school or for the whole day on Saturday. You can choose from small group courses (4-8 children per class) or request a tailor-made individual course for your child. Groups are organised by age and level to ensure a homogenous class dynamic that provides optimal linguistic progress.

– Children learn faster and easier when they are young because their brains are still developing and more “elastic”. That makes them more open to new patterns and sounds, and therefore ideally designed for language learning.
