Revamped Keppel Centre For Art Education In Singapore

The Keppel Art Centre for Education has been revamped and reopened recently as a permanent space within the National Gallery.

Its 7 new child-centric interactive and simulating artsy learning zones and activities allow the kids to unleash their creativity and be enriched by art. For example, at the A Brush With Forest Fire zone, children get to experience creating their secondary colours with the different primary colours.

Equipped with special paint brushes, they will also get to put out virtual forest fires in an augmented reality game while learning about basic colour theory. Children can also create their own whimsical space with the open-ended play objects such as colours, shapes, light and shadow and having their masterpieces projected onto the walls at the Illuminate zone.

Families who want to capture their memorable experience at the centre can adorn themselves with the many props at the Portrait Gallery for a mirror selfie.
