i Light Singapore, Asia’s leading light festival, is back from June 5 to 28, 2026, transforming Marina Bay and its satellite location at Raffles Place into enchanting hubs of light and creativity. Organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and presented by UOB, this year’s festival features 14 stunning light installations by 17 talented artists, including over 10 regional creators from across Singapore and Asia.
Centered around the theme Movement, i Light Singapore 2026 invites visitors to explore the expressive power of motion and its ability to inspire change. Highlights include WAVE by Japan’s Masamichi Shimada, an interactive installation recreating the serene rhythm of raindrops, and Let’s Fish the Sun! by China’s Wentao Wang, where visitors “reel in” light to reverse the hues of sunset. Other must-sees include Where the Wildflowers Grow, a glowing garden crafted from reclaimed materials, and the immersive Cube Graphics by France’s Cyril Lancelin, presented by Marina Bay Sands.
For families, the festival offers Infinite Graffiti, a vibrant digital wall inviting creative collaboration, and Silent Moments, which celebrates simple everyday gestures through illuminated silhouettes. For budding talent, the new i Light Future mentorship programme, presented by the DesignSingapore Council, debuts with installations by emerging artists.
Coinciding with the June school holidays, visitors can also enjoy GastroBeats, returning to Bayfront Event Space with food, music, sports, and up to 40 vendors. From spectacular light displays to delicious bites, i Light Singapore 2026 guarantees an unforgettable experience for all.
