The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a group setting where young children who need more support than is available in mainstream pre-schooling can come and receive intensive intervention to best support them in developing the appropriate skills needed to join their mainstream peers once they are primary school age. In order to help children reach their potential, they have highly motivated and qualified teachers, speech therapists and occupational therapists conducting group therapy sessions within the normal hours of the program.
They have developed a specialized provision for children who are need extra support with appropriate communication, sensory integration, speech delays and social skills. Keeping in mind that every child is an unique with individual learning needs, they tailor an Individual Education Plan (IEP) service which is best suited to every single child’s need. Their early intervention program offers group speech and occupational therapy integrated into each day of the program, with a particular focus on appropriate social interaction and communication with peers and adults and a greater awareness of others and their surroundings.
