Matilda International Hospital is now offering new mums extended support and assistance from their highly trained healthcare professionals. On checking out of the hospital with newborns, the new community midwifery services see professionally registered midwives making home visits to offer new mums support and practical guidance for up to eight weeks after birth. For help with everything from early bonding to breastfeeding to answering the pressing questions that new mums and their partners might have, this valuable advice and personalized care can add to the wellbeing and peace of mind of new parents.

Take the Matilda Hospital’s renowned maternity service home with you! Visits from the professionally trained midwives ensure care and support is available to new mums once they leave hospital. Studies have shown that women may adjust to motherhood better with such home visits.
Who It's Perfect For:
Patients of the Matilda International Hospital, as well as select other hospitals, will be able to access this service up to eight weeks after birth.
What Else:
The community postnatal midwifery service covers Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories with the service charge starting at HK$1,650 per visit (around one hour).
